Mother calls 911 because kid won't stop playing games

As if we needed any further evidence of the incompetence of parents in America, here we have another mother with a complete inability to control her spawn. A 14-year-old boy wouldn't stop playing videogames, so what did his mother do? Turn the TV off? Instill some sort of discipline? No, she called the cops!

49-year old Angela Mejia discovered a light coming from her son's room at 2:30am and, upon entering, discovered him playing videogames. Apparently she was unable to get him to stop, so she called 911. Police actually arrived, told the boy to "chill out" and "go to bed," which he seemingly did without issue.

The boy was playing a Grand Theft Auto game, which the mother disapproved of. She claimed she would "never buy that sort of video, no way," which doesn't explain where her underage son obtained it.

Seriously, this is why parents lash out at the games industry. They're so f*cking incapable of looking after their own kids that they rely on surrogates to look out for the little snots. I hope she doesn't expect that child to ever respect her authority again, now that she's run crying to the cops of a total non-issue.
