BIG Rumor: Xbox 360 Project Natal demos were staged

to Giant Bomb (a website made up of a number of ex-GameSpot)
journalists has relayed a rumor that the Xbox 360's project Natal demo
was STAGED with a separate person holding a 360 controller.

We just got the following via a news tip:

Giant Bomb (a website made up of four ex-gamespot journalists including
controversal Jeff Gerstmann (Gerstmann-gate)) revealed that they have
heard rumors from the E3 showfloor that the Xbox 360 Project Natal
demos were staged with a separate person holding an Xbox 360 controller.

Is this a case of you are the controller or you are holding a controller?

I mean seriously the girl was flailing around like she was drowning or
something, her hands and feet were all over the place, I don't see how
they could have staged that, specially when the avatars movement
matched that of the girl almost exactly.

The promotion video at the beginning was obviously staged, but those
videos usually are, it doesn't matter if you are Sony, Nintendo or
Microsoft, they all do it. Didn't Sony try to pass off the early CGi
Killzone two vids as realtime graphics?

Getting sacked for giving an honest review does not make your word gospel.
