only be for PSN + people. Accroding to Joystiq atleast. While people
might cry foul, keep in mind I think you need Live gold to get this on
XBOX. I think this includes party chat as well. How it works is this. If
your aPSN + member, then you can have 3 of your friends in your party
even if theyre not PSN + members. However, if you leave, your party
dissolves because then nobody would have PSN + in the party. also, I
could be wrong, But I also think they said you can only cross chat with
fellow PSN + members.

The day has finally arrived,
cross-chat is hitting the PS3. According to Sony, Cross-Game Chat will
be a a new feature on the PS3, but no exact date of when it’ll go live,
but it seems like it’ll be later this month when PlayStation Plus goes
live. Sadly, it does appear you’ll need to have PlayStation Plus to
use this feature and it won’t be open to all gamers.

Also found in the full PlayStation Press Release, Firmware 3.40 is
revealed!

through PlayStation Store on PS3 only. Users need to install PS3
system software version 3.40, which will be released on June 22nd, to
enjoy PlayStation Plus.”
“Cross-game chat has been a hot topic for PS3 gamers for well over a
year now, and Sony is taking things to the next level by offering this
service to all gamers.”
Obviously this is HUGE news to any Hardcore PS3 fans such as myself. I
actually feel myself shaking. Shoutout to Clewis, I hope you feel a
little better now too . I wonder why Sony kept this so quite and
why it is only on a random European website. So It’s
finally here thoughts!?

I don't know why people down-ranked you, you're right. I knew this was
going to happen with the introduction of PlayStation Plus. Now, we'll
have Sony limiting potential new features to basic users, which would've
been free via firmware upgrade if this service never existed. The main
reason I bought a PlayStation 3 was because I was promised a free online
service. To me, an online service isn't just about online gaming, it's
also the other services that come with it. Sony is being no better than
Microsoft by introducing this service. They may allow their customers to
play online for free, but they're limiting them from receiving content
that would normally be given to everyone, and blocking features from
them. I paid $599.99 CAD + 14% tax (I think it was 14% at the time) to
buy my 20GB PS3 at launch week. I'm disappointed by Sony today.

From how it was phrased at the conference, it sounds like, should
your subscription run out, anything you get through said subscription
becomes inaccessible. Could you clear this up when you get in?

Sure, anything you buy with the exclusive discounts, many of the
exclusive extras/add-ons, the premium avatars/dynamic themes, and of
course the free copy of LBP (if you sign up in time;-) are all yours to
keep for good
The games that you get within the service are available for you to keep
and use as long as you are a member.
Plus, the other exclusive features you get to.

Grande hype para uma conferência, quanto a mim, medíocre.
Playstation Move não me cativou... nem foi o aparelho em si, bom preço, aplicabilidade inesgotável e grande potencial, foi mesmo os conteúdos que apresentaram para aquilo. Tiger Woods, não é o nosso mercado, mesmo que fosse os gráficos daquilo, tenho melhor no iPhone... Aquele pacote de jogos diversos, parece-me bem giro, mas o Wii Sports Resort não é igual?

Exclusivos... Killzone 3, é claro que vou comprar porque sou fã desde o primeiro, mas se for igual ao 2, não vou perder tempo com o online. Gran Turismo 5... Ok! Novembro... vamos ver se é verdade... Twisted Metal? Por favor, aquilo é um Mercenaries 3 Parte 2, com o sucesso previsto idêntico... Que macacada... Foi aquilo a grande surpresa?

Para mim a maior surpresa foi mesmo Portal 2, ainda por cima apresentado por quem foi... A vida dá voltas, não? Pensava que com Gabe Newell a apresentar fosse anunciado que o Steam viria para a PS3... mas não... ufa!

PSN+ não é o mesmo âmbito da Live Subscription, nem pretende ser. É mais um clube, uma elite na PSN. Não creio que tenha o mínimo sucesso se não obrigar a compra, como o Live obriga para jogar online. Mas com as ofertas anunciadas, fico na expectativa. Se continuarem as ofertas até sou capaz de aderir só mesmo pelo acesso a exclusivos como Betas e outras facilidades. Será este o fim da "elitezinha" das betas da Sony?

De resto, fraquinho...

Esqueci-me só de dizer uma coisa quanto ao Move e ao jogueco Sorcery:

Por tanto resumindo e concluindo....a única verdadeira novidade e noticia boa é:

quantos milhões e que o gajo da valve viu?

O cross game chat é provavelmente a funcionalidade mais confirmada e desmentida que já vi.

So, there you have it folks. Dreams crushed, hopes ruined, no point of living now, right? Wrong, because Sony of course acknowledge the demand of cross-game voice chat, and it shouldn’t be too long till they announce it.
